Doctor Who: Arrows of Time โ Third Movement - Creatio
Featuring a libretto taken from 51 years of words spoken by the Doctor translated and transformed into Latin. A fulldome planetarium show exploring themes of potential, chaos and disorder, creation, the fourth and fifth dimension, parallel universes and contemplation, with music composed and script written by me with permission from the BBC.
Buy full version โMendel: The Legacy, The Well-Tempered Genotype
A video-mapping multimedia extravaganza projected on the Augustinian Abbey where Mendel conducted his research and simultaneously on scientific institutions worldwide. Featuring animation by Emmy and BAFTA winning animator Drew Berry accompanied by my live orchestral and choral score.
Obtuse Angles
An audio-visual installation. Taking its visual elements from British cinematography, extracting them, remixing them, combining them, omitting them, obscuring them live. The music is a minimalist wasteland populated by the disjointed rhythm and melodic misdirection that the visuals inspire.
The Frozen Cottage
Desperation, fear, desire - all frozen in time and space. String quartet and choir. A frame-by-frame exposure of the futility of life but the strength of emotion. Despite the obstacles, rugged determination in a bleak landscape. One man's escape is another man's imprisonment, resulting in the ultimate release.

Musical approach
Creative Philosophy
Every piece tells a story, whether through traditional orchestration or something much stranger. Narrative drives the composition. Not technique for its own sake.
Acoustic instruments and electronic elements work as equal voices. The medium serves the work, not the other way round.
The goal is music that lands before you've had time to think about it.
Technical Expertise
Full symphony orchestrations, with close attention to instrumental colour and texture. Professional notation and parts preparation for live performance.
Modern DAW techniques combined with traditional composition. Neither in isolation.
Working closely with directors, animators, and performers from the first rough idea through to delivery.
